Dans la soirée du jeudi 15 février, Christophe Naudin, l’un des condamnés dans l’affaire « Air Cocaïne », a quitté la République Dominicaine pour purger le reste de sa peine en France.
Julieta Tejada, la porte-parole du procureur général dominicain, a confirmé que le condamné a été remis « aux autorités venues de France pour le transférer ».
Une source a confirmé au quotidien Le Monde l’arrivée de Christophe Naudin « vendredi dans la matinée à l’aéroport de Roissy ».
La direction de l’administration pénitentiaire (DAP) a précisé que le condamné « sera présenté au parquet de Bobigny en vue de son incarcération dans une maison d’arrêt francilienne ».
Selon Stephen Monod, l’avocat français de Christophe Naudin, « son état de santé est considérablement dégradé ».
Éric Dupond-Moretti et Antoine Vey ont déclaré « ses conditions de détention ont été extrêmement difficiles ».
Miguel Valerio, son avocat dominicain, a expliqué « il était impératif qu’il soit transféré en France auprès de sa famille, où ses conditions de détention seront meilleures et où il sera soumis au régime d’exécution et d’application des peines de droit français ».
Dans cette rocambolesque affaire dite « Air Cocaïne », Christophe Naudin avait été extradé au printemps 2016 d’Égypte pour être jugé sur l’île des Caraïbes pour sa participation assumée à l’évasion des deux pilotes français Bruno Odos et Pascal Fauret.
Il a été condamné à une peine de cinq ans de prison ainsi qu’à payer une amende d’un montant de 33 OOO dollars.
Afin de purger cette peine, Christophe Naudin devra encore rester en prison pour deux ans et neuf mois.
