Mardi 26 septembre, le parquet de Lille (Nord) a annoncé l’ouverture d’une enquête au motif de « recherche des causes de la mort » suite à la découverte, lundi 25 décembre, du corps sans vie d’une patiente dans un ascenseur de service du centre hospitalier régional (CHR) de Lille.
Cette patiente de 53 ans était hospitalisée dans le service des maladies de l’appareil digestif. Dans la soirée du samedi 23, l’hôpital Claude Huriez a signalé sa disparition aux autorités vers 22 heures.
Dans un communiqué, l’hôpital explique que la patiente a « fugué de sa chambre de l’hôpital Claude Huriez dans la soirée de samedi à dimanche en y laissant ses effets personnels et sa disparition a été signalée par les équipes soignantes à la police ».
Cette fugue « a été considérée par l’équipe soignante comme inquiétante puisque cette patiente devait poursuivre son hospitalisation et qu’il y avait un risque pour son état de santé ».
Des recherches ont été menées suite au signalement, tant dans l’hôpital qu’à l’extérieur, par du personnel de l’hôpital, des agents de sécurité et des membres de la famille de la disparue.
Le lundi 25 décembre vers 7 heures du matin, une aide-soignante découvre le corps sans vie de la patiente dans un ascenseur réservé au service.
Une autopsie devrait avoir lieu rapidement pour déterminer les causes de sa mort. En état de « détresse », la famille de la personne retrouvée morte envisage de saisir la justice.
