L’association de défense des consommateurs UFC-Que Choisir et une association composée des familles des nourrissons contaminés sont à l’origine de cette plainte.
Entre le mois d’août et la fin du mois de décembre, 35 cas de salmonellose ont été diagnostiqués chez des nourrissons dont 31 avaient consommé du lait infantile du premier groupe laitier de l’hexagone.
La bactérie « salmonella agona » venait d’une unsine située à Craon en Mayenne. Après « des travaux réalisés courant 1er semestre 2017 », « nous savons qu’une contamination dispersée s’est installée » dans le site de production de Craon, a fait savoir Lactalis.
Jeudi 21 décembre, tous les produits « fabriqués ou conditionnés » dans l’usine incriminée ont été rappelés par l’entreprise.
Il s’agit d’un rappel de 720 lots de laits infantiles, en plus des 625 lots déjà retirés des marchés nationaux et internationaux au cours des deux dernières semaines.
